This was a complete dryer vent installation for a homeowner who needed a fresh, safe setup. The old duct wasn’t usable, so we mapped out a new route that gave the dryer proper airflow without unnecessary bends or long runs.
We installed rigid ducting through the attic, sealed every seam with mastic, and made sure the insulation around it was clean and tight. At the back of the dryer, we connected a new flex hose and made sure the transition was smooth. On the exterior, we added a secure vent cap with a damper to block drafts and animals.
After everything was in place, we tested the system to confirm solid airflow and no leaks. It’s the kind of job that might seem simple, but done right, it makes a big difference in safety and performance.
